When you find a car you want to bid on, place a fully refundable deposit to unlock vehicle pictures, translated auction sheets, physical inspection reports, and active bidding.
1 — Vehicle Consultation & Auction Access
Choose your inspection level and set your price cap.
Optional 3rd-Party Physical Inspection: Request a dedicated, independent inspector to physically check the car on-site in Japan before bidding for extra peace of mind, or proceed using the official auction sheet report.
Set Your Cap: Simply tell us your maximum custom-cleared price to the Port of Vancouver.
You Keep the Savings: If we win the vehicle for less than your maximum target, 100% of those savings go directly back to you.
2 — Inspection Choice & Vancouver Cleared-Price Budget
Securing your vehicle and prepping for transit.
Auction Victory & Invoice: Once the bid is won, we issue your final invoice with your deposit applied. Payment is due within 3 business days. (If we don't win, your deposit remains 100% refundable).
Storage & High-Res Photos: We transport your vehicle to our secure Japanese storage port facility, where you will receive a comprehensive gallery of additional high-resolution photos.
Export Preps: We manage all Japanese deregistration paperwork, export certificates, and secure ocean shipping bound for Vancouver.
3 — Winning Bid, Invoice & Japan Storage Port
Track your vehicle across the Pacific.
Your vehicle is prepped, loaded, and shipped via RoRo.
We provide tracking updates, ocean manifests, and estimated arrival dates as it crosses the Pacific.
4 —Ocean Freight & Transit Tracking
Cleared directly in your name at the Port of Vancouver.
Customs Clearance: Upon arrival, we handle all Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) customs processing to clear the vehicle directly in your name (including CBSA Form 1, duties, and taxes).
Bonded Yard Storage: Once cleared, the vehicle is safely moved into a secure bonded storage lot at the port.
Pickup & Transport Options: You have two options for getting your car home:
Option A (Self-Pickup): Pick up the vehicle yourself. (Note: Port security regulations require the vehicle to be towed out of the bonded yard—it cannot be driven off the lot).
Option B (Doorstep Delivery): Arrange inland transport to ship the vehicle straight to your driveway.
Note: Final pickup, port release coordination, and inland transportation are solely the responsibility of the buyer. However, we can gladly recommend trusted, reputable shipping companies to handle this for you
5 —Customs Clearance & Bonded Yard Arrival
Put on your plates and hit the road.
Insure & Inspect: Get temporary insurance, then take your vehicle to pass its required provincial safety or out-of-province inspection.
Register & Plate: Bring your completed CBSA Form 1, import documents, inspection certificate, and bill of sale to your local provincial registry office to get your official license plates.
Enjoy & Share: Hit the road and enjoy your new JDM ride! Don't forget to send us a photo of your vehicle—we love seeing our clients reunited with their dream cars!
